Professional Background

With 30 years' experience in education, wellbeing leadership, personal development and careers advice, I have supported young people, adults, parents, families and professionals through periods of challenge, change and growth.

My professional experience and training have given me a broad understanding of wellbeing, careers, resilience, safeguarding, the impact of trauma and adversity, and mental health. Most importantly, they have given me a real-world understanding of the challenges people can face when life changes, confidence dips, the challenge of supporting others while trying to look after oneself.

My Approach

My coaching approach is compassionate, practical, and tailored to each individual.

During challenging times, it can be difficult to see things clearly or recognise the strengths we already have. Coaching provides a supportive space to talk things through, gain clarity, explore different perspectives, and find your own solutions.

Rather than telling you what you should do, coaching helps you step back, understand what matters to you and identify the changes that feel right for you. Together, we can build on your existing strengths, explore new possibilities, and turn your insights into practical steps.

Your Coaching Pathway

Coaching is most effective when there is time to reflect, explore new perspectives, and put insights into practice. Meaningful change develops through awareness, action, and the opportunity to learn from your experiences.

I recommend an initial 12-week coaching pathway consisting of six sessions, with sessions usually taking place every two weeks.

This allows time between sessions to reflect on what we explore, try new approaches, notice progress, and begin building positive changes into everyday life. The space between sessions can be a valuable part of the coaching process — a time to notice patterns, practise new approaches and make choices that support the changes you want to create.

After the initial 12 weeks, we can review your progress together and decide what support feels right moving forward. Some clients choose to continue with fortnightly or monthly coaching sessions, while others may feel ready to continue independently.

I understand that choosing coaching is a personal decision, so you may prefer to begin with a one-hour coaching session as a taster or to explore a particular challenge, goal, or area of focus.

Empowerment Journal

As part of the 12-week coaching pathway, you will be offered the use of an Empowerment Journal — a reflective resource designed to support you between sessions.

It provides space to capture thoughts, recognise your strengths, reflect on progress, and explore actions that feel meaningful.

The Empowerment Journal is not about completing tasks or finding the “right” answers. It is simply a tool to support reflection, awareness, and making the most of the time between coaching conversations.

Each coaching pathway is personalised, with the pace and focus adapted to your individual needs and circumstances.
